Betty Meierant

Betty L. Meierant, age 82, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, died February 17, 2004, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon. Funeral services at 12 noon on Thursday, February 19, 2004, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Interment at sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Mrs. Meierant was a 1941 graduate of Gem City Business College in Quinicy, Illinois. She was a member of Theta Alpha Chi Sorority and Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville. She is survived by her husband, Melvin W. Meierant; a son, Thomas (Patricia) Meierant; a daughter, Barbara (Steven) Barthi; 4 grandchildren: Lacey Jo and Kayle Barthi, and Jonathan and Christopher Meierant; a niece, Susan Stone and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Proctor.
