Alvin Trampe

Alvin H. Trampe, age 69, of Edwardsville, IL, died May 6, 2002, at his home in Edwardsville, IL. Visitation was from 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, May 9th, at the funeral home. Funeral services at 11 AM on Friday, May 10, 2002, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville, IL. Interment Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mr. Trampe worked for Home Nursery, Butler Chevrolet, and Four Flags Motors. He later retired as a Lay Miniter at Trinity Lutheran Church. He also served on many Lutheran boards and belonged to many Lutheran organizations. He was a Veteran of US Army during Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife Jeanne (Seehausen) Trampe; One son: Timothy (Mary A.) Trampe of Alhambra; One daughter: Andrea C. Trampe of St. Louis; Two step grandchildren; Two brothers: Wayne (Jeannie) Trampe of Highland, IL. and Vernon (Judy) Trampe of Collinsville, Il.; One sister: LaVerne(Duane) Meyer of Hamel, IL. A sister-in-law Alice Trampe of Collinsville.
