Alvin Daube Obituary

Alvin Daube, age 84, of Edwardsville, IL, died November 12, 2003, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Visitation 3 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, November 16th, at Weber Funeral Home. Funeral services at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, Nov. 17th, at Zion Lutheran Church in Carpenter, Il. Interment Zion Church Cemetery in Carpenter, Il. Alvin "Butch" Daube was a Dairy and Grain Farmer all his life. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Carpenter, Veteran of US Army in WWII, Member of American Legion Post 199 Edwardsville, Dairy Farmers of American, and founding trustee of NE Central Water District. Survivors include two sons: George & David Daube, and a daugter Gladys (Husband Thomas C.) Nelson, all of Edwardsville. One granddaughter Kyleigh Nelson. A sister LaVerne Best of Edwardsville. A special friend: Dody Dively of Bunker Hill. He was preceded in death by is wife Alberta (Kruckeberg) Daube, two brothers; Wilbur & Eugene "Jim" Daube, and one sister Oilnda Neuhaus. Family requests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church or Sth Illinios Hospice.
