Albert Krouse

Albert "Curly" Krouse, age 74, of Edwardsville, IL, died January 18, 2004, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Visitation 4 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2003 at Pletcher Funeral Home Funeral services at 10 on Wednesday, Jan. 21st, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edwardsville, IL. Interment St. James Cemetey in Edwardsville, IL. Curly was a laborer with Local 179 and retired from Thiemes Construction and was owner of Curly's Weed Butchering Service. His memberships included St. Mary's Catholic Church, American Legion Post 199 and VFW Post 1299. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.Survivors include his wife Frances (Settle) Krouse. One son David (Beth) Krouse of Edwardsville. A daughter Judy (Michael) Klopmeier of Edwardville. Four grandchildren: Amy Gauen, Jessie Klopmier, David & Nicole Krouse. Two sisters; Stella Waters of South Carolina and Helen Hulsker of Edwardsville. He was preceded in death by 1 brother,1 sister, his step-father, 3 step-brothers, and 3 step sisters.
