Agnes Halbe

Agnes E. Halbe, age 101, of Edwardsville, IL, died December 7, 2003, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Funeral services at 10 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Weber Funeral Home in Edwardsville, IL. Interment at Forever Valley View Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL. Mrs. Halbe was a homemaker. Throughout her life, she played the piano in various dance bands, most recently in the Kitchen Band. She also worked at Leclaire School and was a life-long member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edwardsville. She is survived by her brother, Erwin Fischer and several nieces and nephews. SHe was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred "Pete" Halbe; a sister, Edna Hogan; and a brother, Eugene Charles Fischer.
