William M. Drake Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William M. Drake, age 63, of Edwardsville, formerly of Alton, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at University Care Center in Edwardsville. He was born February 8, 1959, in Alton, the son of the late Robert & Connie (Silveus) Drake. William retired as Sr. Vice President of the loan department for 1st Mid-American Credit Union in 2017. Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Jo (Roscetti) Drake. They were married on September 5, 1981, in Alton. He is also survived by two sons, Daniel Drake & wife Jessica of Westlake Village, California, Andrew Drake & fiancé Anna Pagano of Edwardsville: and two beautiful granddaughters. William was a member of Leclaire Christian Church in Edwardsville; he was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and he loved playing golf with his family and friends. He was also high school All-American, All-City, and All-State in football at Roxana High School. He was cremated according to his wishes and will be buried at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto at a later date. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Leclaire Christian Church in Edwardsville, with Pastor Matt Campbell officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Leclaire Christian Church Mission Fund.
