Terry B. Bollmann

Terry B. Bollmann, age 82, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Terry was born in Cooper Hill, MO, on April 6, 1939, the son of the late Irvin & Ruth (Smith) Bollmann. Terry married Eva Schipkowski on October 17, 1959, in Edwardsville. Besides his wife of 62 years, Terry is survived by a son, Gary Bollmann & wife Carol, of Edwardsville; a daughter, Gayla Robertson & husband Jim, of Edwardsville; three grandchildren, Brad Bollmann & fiancée Kaylee, of Edwardsville, Greg Bollmann & wife Stephanie, of Collinsville, and Tim Robertson & Ashley, of Collinsville, IL; and four great grandchildren, Tyler Bollmann, Holly Robertson, Connor Bollmann, & Madelyn Bollmann; and many nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a sister JoAnn Davis. Terry began working for the Edwardsville Fire Department on March 1, 1969. After 29 years, Terry retired from the department on April 29, 1998. Terry was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edwardsville. He was also a Eucharistic Minister for many years. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edwardsville with Rev. Robert J. Jallas presiding. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Glen Carbon, IL The family requests memorials to The BackStoppers or Edwardsville Fire Department.
