Patricia A. Warning

Patricia A. Warning, age 86, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at her residence. She was born November 30, 1935, in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of the late Andrew & Antonia (Petrosky) Baker. Pat married Orville H. Warning on September 24, 1955, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Madison, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2005. She is survived by two sons, Bruce A. Warning & wife Cyndy of Glen Carbon, David B. Warning of Chesterfield, Missouri; five grandchildren, Courtney Johnson & husband Ryan, Casie Tomczak & husband Daniel, Ben Warning, Sam Warning, Sean Warning; and three great grandchildren, Jack Tomczak, Samantha Johnson, & Ryan Jeffery Johnson. Pat worked at Burns Nursery as an Office Assistant and was a member of the Eden Church in Edwardsville for many years. She was very passionate about ballet dancing and loved spending time with and following her grandchildren’s activities. In retirement Pat and Orville enjoyed their home at Lake of The Ozarks. Pat was an avid St. Louis Cardinals & Blues Fan, and was known for her cooking skills. She was best known for her decorated cookies and cakes that she made for her family & friends. The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home with Rev. John Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Eden Church or Faith in Action.
