Linda Jo Hoppe Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Linda Jo Hoppe, age 64 of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. She was born April 19, 1957, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Julia A. (Heberer) Hoppe, and the late Willard C. Hoppe. Linda is survived by her mother, Julia Hoppe of Edwardsville; daughter, Tara Hoppe, of St. Louis, Missouri; niece, Ashley Esmon & husband Travis, and her nephew, Zack Clubb &wife Riley. She was preceded in death by her father Willard; son Tyler D. Hoppe; brother Alan C. Hoppe; and a niece Melissa Hoppe. Linda graduated from Lewis & Clark Community College in 1981, where she studied Women in Construction Trades Training and was also a licensed beautician. She was known for her faith in God, creativity, sense of humor, love of shopping and fashion, cooking, gardening, and socializing. Linda will be cremated according to her wishes. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 10, at the funeral home. The family requests memorials be given to the family, or in Linda’s name to a charity of their choice. The family strongly requests all attendees wear masks in-doors and when approaching the family.
