Dolores A. Beeman, age 80, of Edwardsville, Illinois died at 11:32 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2018, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. Dolores was a retired secretary for the U.S. Army having worked at AVSCOM in St. Louis and Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She was a volunteer for Hospice of Southern Illinois for 10 years. She was born October 10, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Paul & Anna (Sczepanski) Jozuiak. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years James E. Beeman on January 24, 2018. She is survived by 1 son, Timothy Beeman & wife Barb Honchak of Stanwood, Washington; and several cousins, Ray & Etta Sczepanski, David, Irene, & Vicki Sczepanski, Sharon Podorski, Dawn Riebold, Micheal and Jim Hauskins, Kim Yess and Denise Martinussen. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edwardsville. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville. A funeral mass will follow at 11 am. Tuesday at St. Boniface Church with Fr. Dan Bergbower officiating. Following cremation her ashes will be interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
