Carol L. Hengehold

Carol L. Hengehold, age 78, of Ellisville, MO, formerly of Edwardsville, IL, died Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Creve Coeur, MO, with her family by her side. She was born May 30, 1943, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late George C. & Etta M. (Griffin) Piller. Carol married Robert W. Hengehold on September 5, 1964, in Glenview, IL. Robert preceded Carol in death on February 18, 2014. Carol is survived by 3 sons, Rick Hengehold & wife Donya of Edwardsville, Mike Hengehold and wife Rebecca of Chesterfield, MO, and Dan Hengehold, of Omaha, Nebraska; one daughter, Debbie Bollman & Craig of Largo, FL; 7 grandchildren; and one brother, Todd Piller & wife Madeline, of Midlothian, VA. She loved her grandchildren and will be missed immensely by them. Carol was a very talented floral designer for many years at Bill’s Montclaire Floral. She also enjoyed crafting and sewing in her spare time. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday February 10, 2022, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert J. Jallas officiating. Interment will be at St. Boniface Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Metro East Humane Society.
