Ana Paulina Zoelzer

December 18, 1939 - June 9, 2022

Ana Paulina Zoelzer, age 82, of Edwardsville, passed away at Stillwater Memory Care in Edwardsville on Thursday, June 9, 2022, with her husband Robert Lee Zoelzer, Sr by her side. She courageously battled an autoimmune myopathy for the last 20 years of her life while also battling Alzheimer’s the last 2 years. Paulina was born July 21, 1939, in Ipiales Colombia, the daughter of the late Eufemia Bucheli. She married Elmer Ralph Harris Jr on June 1, 1957. He proceeded her in death on July 19, 1958. They had one son Elmer Ralph Harris III born in 1959. Paulina married Robert Lee Zoelzer Sr. her husband of almost 60 years at Eden Church in Edwardsville on December 18, 1963. They also had one son Robert Lee Zoelzer Jr, born in 1969. Paulina loved shopping, bird watching, and traveling as her and Bob traveled to many places over the years spanning from Arizona and Florida to Venezuela, Mexico, Hawaii, and Thailand. Along with her husband Bob, Paulina is survived by two sons, Robert Lee Zoelzer Jr, and his wife Sheree of Edwardsville, Elmer Ralph Harris III, his wife Ana of Edwardsville; two grandchildren, Zakary Robert Zoelzer of Edwardsville, & Brandon Harris of St. Louis Missouri. A private family visitation & service will be held at Weber & Rodney funeral home in Edwardsville and according to Paulina’s wishes she will be cremated.
